Meet Dr. Sheila

Dr. Sheila Mary is a graduate of Bastyr University, one of the most rigorous naturopathic medical programs in North America. Prior to her naturopathic medical training, she earned multiple advanced degrees in healthcare, including a Doctor of Medicine (MD), a Master of Public Health (MPH), and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), reflecting a broad and integrative foundation in clinical medicine and population health. She also holds a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Washington and a Certificate in Homeopathy from the New England School of Homeopathy (NESH).

Her naturopathic medicine training includes:
• Biomedical sciences: anatomy, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology
• Over two years of supervised clinical training with real patients
• Specialized education in botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, physical medicine, and mind-body care
Her approach is grounded in the Therapeutic Order, supporting the body’s natural ability to heal while addressing underlying causes. Care is individualized, evidence-informed, and focused on restoring balance across physical, mental, emotional, and long-term health. This same commitment to balance and intentional living extends beyond the clinical setting and shapes how she moves through her personal life.

Dr. Sheila Mary has proudly called the Pacific Northwest home for the past 10 years, where she lives with her husband, Ed, and their son, Chris. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys writing, creating educational health content, preparing nourishing meals, taking long walks on the beach with her husband, dancing, and engaging in thoughtful conversations about politics and global current events with her son.
